Lab 3: Flood Data for the City of Boulder, CO.
Background on Lab 3
The above map is a basic Leaflet Map that is centered on the city of Boulder, CO. There are two datasets that are displayed: The RED polygons show the area's that are prone to flooding during the spring months during the melting of all the snow and ice; The BLUE polygon shows the City of Boulders administrative boundary.
These two datasets are in the Geojson format and were chosen to give anyone thinking of possibly buying a home in the city, something to consider before purchasing.
The overall goal of this lab was to show the capacity to build a custom Leaflet Map that displays Geojson datasets to depict a natural occuring phenomena.
